Teacher Resources - Lessons/Activities
Force, Motion, and Weight
This six day lesson integrates the standards of learning from Science, Math, Language Arts, and Technology. Students wil be exposed to different videos and activities that will expand their vocabulary and understanding of force and motion. Throughout the lesson students will construct an interactive book of the materials and activities for each day of the lesson.
Push or Pull?
A lesson that includes two worksheets that allow students to differ between objects that move due to a push or a pull. One worksheet the student will write what moved the object and whether it was a push or pull. For the second worksheet, the student will cut and paste the pictures and classify them into a push group and pull group.
What Makes an Object Move?
This 3-5 day lesson focuses on the idea that a push or a pull can change the motion of an object. The lesson will center around a KWL where the students will show what they know, what they want to know, and what they have learned following the lesson.
An Exploration of Force
This video contains different activities to engage students when learning about force.
